How goes it guys, I'm new here and I have a question regarding towing a trailer with my car. I've always had trucks but I now have a 2016 Mazda 6 4cyl with a 6 spd manual and I need to haul a 5x8 trailer with a gross weight of 1500 lbs. I don't plan on putting more than 500 lbs in it for a max weight of 2000 lbs. Will my car be capable of hauling this kind of weight?

 

Capable, yes. Legally maybe not, whats you tow-bar rated to? Braked & Un-braked?
