Stitcher and Spotify not working in 2016 Mazda CX-5

Stitcher and Spotify not working in 2016 Mazda CX-5
I have a 2016 Mazda CX-5. Stitcher and Spotify used to work, but they no longer connect, but instead state that I am not connected (which I am). Does anyone have any insight? Do I need to pay a crazy amount of money to upgrade the Infotainment system or should I try resetting it? I know that I can play any app directly from my phone via Bluetooth, but I'm trying to get these working again.
