speedometer issues
have digital speedo that shows a digital speed that does not correspond with the hud display.Has anyone had a similar problem and can suggest a solution? Vehicle is a Mazda Axela 20s 2014
First you've said the speedometer doesn't correspond to the speed shown in the HUD, now you write, there's no difference, it's the actual reading.
Do you mean the missing or not working LCD segments?
That is a very common issue, failure of IC PT6522LQ or PT6522-Q, both are used by the manufacturer. They are the same chip but their bodies / packaging are different. There's no way to find out beforehand which one you got until you have the instrument cluster open. Search Aliexpress, Ebay etc for the part and find an electronics specialist to replace it.
