My question regards a 2003 Automatic Protege5 showing P0500 which indicates a bad speed sensor. The speedometer doesn't work and when the engine gets hot the transmission stays in 3rd. I exchanged my 2 wire speed sensor with another from a working Protege5 and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?
BTW, I used my test light on the wire harness connection and both connectors as well as the shielded wire shows ground.
