We bought a used Mazda 5 last weekend and it only had one key, but not a remote. Trying to get it replaced and we had some auto locksmiths out. They spent ages and said when they got to the final part of the programming it didn't take. Apparently they have to order a special key which is set to the original frequency, but even then he's not sure it will work. Has this happened to anyone and if so is there a solution or are we doomed to never have a remote? Thanks
