Hey, so ive had my 5 speed stick shift lightly tuned Pro5 and was wondering if there was anyway to remove the roof rack and more importantly, how?

i wanna do autocross with my buddy and the rack seems unnecessary.

Are you looking at removing the entire rack or just the cross bars?

If you have any interest in selling the cross bars and the hardware that attaches it to the rails, let me know.

If you plan on keeping the rails on, I have the pieces that cover the openings left in the track after you remove the bars I could send you as a partial trade. They just clip right in.

From what I understand the removal is somewhat straightforward. Undo any clips and bolts you see until it comes off. I have not run across a how to anywhere. Maybe these images of the rails without the covers can help you figure out how to remove the bars.
