Whats up everyone,

Well i just bought myself a 1997 Mazda b2300 Shortbox 2WD Truck. I got it off a older man who took nice care of it, 130,000km. No rust anywhere. I also got a cap with it from a 2001 b series so the paint is off a bit haha...but thats only for winter anyways. $4500 CDN. O yea forgot to mention its a Stick shift. I will have some pics soon, its a dark green. I donno what direction im going to take this truck in but i know its just gonna be nice and clean i dont want to flash it up maybe a little chrome, low pro wheels and rims and a little engine mods if anyways has anything like this id appreciate some advice.

My main concern with this truck right now is the stereo. Im a music freak and i need to get it bumping some heavy metal soon, i havent had time to take the panels off to see the speakers so if anyone knows the stock speaker sizes for doors and rears would be nice. The truck is a small cab so theres almost know space inside for sub. The truck has the bench seat in it and i want to replace it to make some space but i was just hoping maybe someone else has an idea for it with the bench in cause its in quite good shape the interior is mint. Well anyways yea have a good day!

congrats on your new truck, and welcome to the forum.

you'll have some fun with ur new truck. the 5spds are awesome. i had one. but then i effed it up.[:@]

Finding out the correct mods can be difficult/pricey.

but the first thing you might want to do before you even think about adding any aftermarket products, is go over the truck and make sure it doesnt have any major problems, so you wont have to worry in the future

cheers

Welcome to the site, I agree with talented here. Get the engine and mechanics checked out for condition, looks aren't everything. Then go from there. Enjoy it, sounds like it will be with you for a while.

Hey new guy, welcome to the forum hope you enjoy your stay and hope you have fun, cant wait for the pics. For your audio question, it all depends on how much you wanna spend, if you wanna go real cheap price with cheap sound go to target, or Wal-mart, and have fun. Wanna go mid price range with some good quality sound try Bose, Pioneer, MTX, or Alpine. If you wanna go extreme and you have alot of money to spend....give me some, uh i mean go with Infinity or Orion.
