Not new to Mazda though.....owned 4 pickups in the past
Just picked up a 2021 GTR 2 days ago and I already have a question.

Is it just me or do others find the buttons on the remote are in an awkward place?
At the dealership while looking at the vehicle, the hatch automatically opened. The salesman said, oh the button must of gotten pushed in my pocket.
The vehicle is now home and in the garage. My wife come into the house from outside and walk thru the garage and the hatch is open again.

We are blaming the location of the buttons being on the edge of the remote are we nuts or does our hatch like to open on its own?

Other than that, it is an excellent vehicle,

I have a 2019 Mazda3 with the new key fob and two Mazdas with the old key fob. I find I open the trunk, or set off the panic alarm, less often with the new flat and wide fob.

Does your CX-5 have the ability to use the MyMazda App? The notification on the phone that my trunk is open or the door is unlocked is my favorite feature.
