Hey all...

Just got a 2002 protege 5 after losing my beloved 2004 Mazda 3 in a breakup (damn women)!!!!!! I am very curious what people have thought when comparing these 2 cars? I really like that handling and look of the prot5 but I can notice the missing horses.....

Anyway, I'm way up in Halifax, NS and just wanted to say hi to everyone....

Also, I have never OWNED a car, so if I want to make the gear shift shorter or throw shorter like the 3 has, how would I go about that? One of the mazda dealers just picked up a 2003 prot5 and he just cut the shifter shorter......

So, any onwers of a prot 5 feel free to boast about it!!!! I'm at the stage of comparing it to the 3....You know, the stage just like when getting a new gf...always comparing

Both handle well but most people who have driven both will tell you the P5 handles better.
