Exclamation New Member HI ALL


Im recently new to this site, but i have looked on here to solve some problems ive had which was great solved my brake booster problem (mazda tribute v6) however since having this fixed my curise control
no longer works, ive read that there are switches under the brake peddle that might need ajusting
so any advice on how to do this ive tryed to search for a pic/diagram but cant find anything,
hope somone can help

By not working, do you mean that the master power-on idiot light does not come on in the instrument cluster, or that it is on and the cruise will not engage anyway?

There should be a cruise defeat switch near the top of the brake pedal where there is very little movement. Or it might be incorporated into the brake light switch too. I'm not sure in your case. You may want to check and make sure your brake lights are not constantly on as well.

Either way, the shop that took care of the brake booster should be notified that since their work was done, another "related" problem has shown up.
