hi all ive recently purchased a 2002 mazda MPV 3L V6 that i will give to my daughter in law when she gets her licence ,this is 3rd mazda ive had ,the other 2 were mazda tributes, one was a 4 cyl manual ,got rid of that when 4th gear went was quoted a crazy amount to have the box rebuilt, and finding a s/h was near impossable ,apparenly most of the tributs we got wewr all V6 auto,.the other was V6 auto ,it spun a bearing and stuffed the crank . the MPV has a couple issues that i may need to pick the brains on any of the MPV owners if i carnt find the answers on the fourums , so far its been a good little car , but mazda austraila say these werent imported by them and when ring the dealer they say they have no records of the VIN so carnt help with spare parts grrrrr ,so its ebay for new, most of them are ex USA ,so freight costs kill that and wreckers for used , the joys of cars lol
