Default New Mazda 3 Owner

So I went to the dealer on Saturday and decided I was going to purchase a new Mazda 3 5 door. I liked the styling and had done a little research and decided this was the car I wanted. However, I told my wife before we went, I want a black one and I was going to put black rims with a chrome lip on the car as soon as possible. (For those of you who are married you probably know how well that conversation went over). As soon as I walked in the dealership I looked to my left and guess what I saw........

As you can see, it has 18 in Quantum black rims with a chrome lip and the windows had just been tinted, and yes, it's brand spankin new. I looked at the salesman and said, "You need to open the doors and get my car off the showroom floor!" and the rest as they say, is history.

I'm a DSMer for life but am looking forward to finding out what my little Mazda 3 has to offer.

Haha welcome to the site and to the Mazda family. You'll be pleasantly suprised at any Mazda's performance in the twisties. The 3 has alot to offer and you'rs is a BEAUTIFUL example. I see it's the S version with the better 2.3L liter. That's good if you plan on tuning. Also the S has those sexy black head and tail light enclosures. It is a gem of styling in the hatchback shape. I think it would relaly set it off if you removed the side trim and the little "2.3" It's all held on by adhesive only so fishing wire can take it off on a sunny day. I love your car, once again welcome to the family you'll be pleasantly suprised on what Mazda can bring to the table especially at autocrosses or anyhting with turns.
