New 2023 CX-5 Owner
The engine on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson fried after seven years and 120,000 miles, a problem they have with oil burning and the pistons being past their prime. Three weeks of searching for a new engine, rebuilt engine or used engine was fruitless, so time to move on.
Yesterday I purchased a 2023 CX-5 in the PP tirm, and in the red color. I am hoping this vehicle will last into my retirement and provide many years of enjoyable driving. I have owned a 1978 Plymouth Horizon, 1985 Dodge Daytona, 1991 Mazda 323, 1997 Ford Contour, 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid, 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid and the aforementioned 2016 Hyundai Tucson. At 61 years of age, that is more than enough vehicles. Thus far the new automobile is at 110 miles and counting, exactly half of those miles coming from before my purchase.
I will no doubt be further educated here as I was looking at articles and videos and reviews. No CVT and no Hyundai/Kia engine were my only criteria as far as specs. All is good here in Colorado. Roger.
