I have only had the car a few days and now using the key fob it will only lock the car but not unlock it so I have to unlock the car using the key and the horn sounds and the alarm goes off untill I start the engine, which then cancels the alarm and horn.
Can anyone help?

Got to say that apart from this I think the car is great and I look forward to getting advice on keeping it for a few years.

 

btw I have changed the battery in the key fob

 

On further inspection the unlock button was loose inside the fob and has now come detached.
I guess I need a new fob or a second hand one I can reprogramme.
I have now locked the car manually so I guess i can use it like this untill I buy a new fob.
