Mazda Ribute (2002)
My Mazda Tribute this week was towed into the workshop. It stopped running Monday, and so they fitted a new fuel pump. It ran for one day, Thursday then Friday morning they could not start it again.
After four motor mechanics looking at it yesterday, they're now all at a loss to work out why it wont start. It will drive all day, once started, but once I turn it off, it will not start again, without spraying "Quick Start" into the filter.
Any ideas pleas?

Thank you grim-reaper.
Diagnostic test could find "No" fault codes. As the vehicle is still at mechanics, I was told Friday they have "electronic technician, "IT technician" to inspect the vehicle tomorrow morning, Monday.
I'm with you, however, they might not be looking in the right place. At least once she's running again, I'll drive away with a new Fuel Pump!
Will keep you updated.

Hello grim_reaper,
You'll not believe what we found. Yesterday, a full diagnostic test failed to find anything wrong with my Mazda. It did, however, lead them back to the fuel pump. After fitting new fuel pump last week, and then having car break down again, turns out, the new fuel pump was faulty.
After fitting another new fuel pump, today we're back in business. The Mazda is starting each time, and runs well, again! I forgot to ask, but I think the new pump is not an original Mazda / ford component. But, I'll find out.
Thanks again, grim_reaper.
