I'm working on a mazda cx7 2007 for someone and it's cranking but won't start . I checked the fuel pump and it works but I don't smell gas at all near the fuel rails after several cranking attempts. The guy said he got a "rich at idle" code last time it ran. I was leaning on fuel rail pressure sensor. Also he said he recently changed it out with the cheap one on Amazon. Is there any thing that it could be considering these clues that I'm missing?

 

Stating a DTC and not the DTC code # is not helpful? Also, if that is all your "guy" found when looking at your ECU he did not do a complete diagnostic scan??? *See your other thread! Or he just didn't give you all he found?

And starting more than one thread about the same problem on any vehicle forum is not really the correct thing to do?
