Default Mazda 5 window issue

Hello all
We have recently purchased a 2007 Mazda 5 and have a strange issue that has recently happened, only when it is raining. The left hand passenger window automatically goes down and will not operate from the main window switch or the switch on the door. A few minutes later both switches work again, and if it's still raining or wet outside it happens again randomly. We've had it happen 6 times now!! We've taken it to our mechanic and he has removed the two door trim panels and all seems in order. After trawling the internet I can't see this issue happening to anyone else so I'm at a lost cause, and wondered if a Mazda specialist may be able to give us some advice.
It's mean especially irritating occurance as our little 4 month old baby is in her car seat when it happens, luckily it's not happened yet while at motorway speeds, which could be worrying!!
Fingers crossed someone has a remedy for this.
Many thanks
Millsy
