Hi, my name is Alex and I live in Pasadena, California. I own a Mazda 3 2015. I wanted to know which is the best maintenance schedule and Oil change intervals for my car. I am open to suggestions. Thanks

No suggestion. Not go past 7k miles and by oil analysis from several members 5000 miles is the best . Type of oil used does not seem to change much from this information. Going longer than those numbers sure you can….. and that’s what keeps service shops in business from issues caused by extended oil use miles.

We have done over 300+ oil analysis for customers over the years through Black stone oil labs .

You can’t debate pure empirical data and fact based information. Contact them and ask.

Many DIY will state other information , just keep in mind thats their vehicle not yours , not everyone takes the best care of them.

For me oil and filter are inexpensive easy to change and great insurance as a preventative service. So mine get changed at 3000 miles. I will state Blackstone most of the time but not always, suggests on my several oil analysis I could go to 5000 miles .
