My brother just got himself an 88 rx-7, non-turbo, 5 speed. Needs some love. Little stuff, mostly...I replaced the clutch and release bearing last weekend and had a chance to get a good look at the car...looks very solid for it's age. A couple issues...speedometer doesn't work, I think maybe I didn't reinstall the speedo gear wheel firmly enough. It was rigged there before I got to it...also, someone swapped in HID headlights, and it does NOT seem like a professional job, so we're thinking of reverting them to OE lighting. High beams don't work...other than that, runs sweet, drives well. Any advice welcome, as I am the one who will be putting in the wrench time. Thanks!
