how to take off the cover on a 2012 mazda 3 i touring with skyactiv 2.0l engine

I would like to be able to change my air filter myself. This is the first Mazda I have ever owned. I have located the air filter housing. Looks very complicated as to removing it. Any help will be mostly appreciated
