Default Hello from S FLA

Just found this cool forum and joined. I've owned my 2010 hatch for about 15 months and started modding about a year ago. I look forward to posting here. Here's a pic of my ride.

A man after my own heart... blue tinted fogs. Nice wheels too.

Welcome to the site, Dennis!

I see you've got springs in her already too. What are your other plans?

Thanks. This purple forum seems pretty laid back. I like it! Mods on my radar are a RB front sway, MS3 front calipers and slotted rotors, Mx-5 rear bracket and rotor conversion and Hawk HPS pads front and rear. MSDS is prototyping headers for the 2.5 so we'll see how that works out. If it does then I'll sell my MS3 exhaust and get a borla to keep the volume respectable and get either a hypertech canned tune (when available) or send my ECU out to DPtune and get a custom tune. HP doesn't come easily on a n/a thats for sure.

We are a smaller, and generally more laid-back forum. No one gets too crazy here most of the time. I'm not saying we are not an opinionated lot, just that most of the time we realize it's your car and your life. We just try to help guide more than direct.

Now, why the RB front and not the rear first? A heavier rear bar would eliminate/alleviate the under steer.
I am currently running the RB rear bar w/a stock front, though have upgrades the links at both ends. It helps w/throttle and torque steer a lot!
Besides, the front bar on these is a PITA to do. By comparison, the rear is a piece of cake.

I have a Racing Beat rear bar installed already. I also have SPC adjustable camber links set at -1.5. My car is way too loose at the limit even with my Dunlop Z1's. I'd like to get the front sway to get back to neutral. Then I'll use the SPC's to dial out some more of the neg camber to get back to a little oversteer bias. Good idea or bad?
