Hello everyone, this is my first thread on here, because recently I had purchased a 1983 Mazda 626, with only 63k kilometers! Previous owners had it sitting outside during summer, spring, and fall, and inside during the winter, and practically did nothing with it.




Its a great car to scoot around in and cruise, however, there is a very significant problem I need help with solving, which is looking for struts. As far as my research goes, the struts are its own thing for this car, and they are NOT interchangeable between other Mazda models, which makes it a big headache to find specific parts for it. Upon looking for aftermarket struts, only one company named "Sachs" makes them, however they are no longer in production. Would anyone else here have a clue on where else I could look? Specifically, I'm looking for the rear struts. Thank you!
