Default Greetings from Ontario, Canada

Hello everyone,

Our family vehicle is a 2001 MPV DX purchased in '05. Runs quite well although this year has been a bugger for repairs. Things like fuel lines clogged by a corroding fuel filler pipe. It also has chronic rust problems on lower doors and door posts especially.

This forum has helped us make some repairs saving $$$ so I've decided to join. Right now, I'm working on a stuck ignition key and am reading through that thread.

Cheers!

Well, Congrats on making the jump from lurker to regular member, Rod. Welcome!!

Stuck in what way? The key is stuck in the ignition, or the ignition switch "thinks" that the key is already in it?

Key was stuck in the ignition. Solenoid would not release. Thanks to thread in MPV section, problem has been overcome.

Welcome from your sometimes difficult next door neighbor (Quebec).
Automatic transmission eh?
Read the most recent entries of the post about Burning Clutch -2009 Mazda and you'll see you're not alone.
