Ello all, new to the forum and to owning a Mazda. Just bought meself a Mazda 3 and loving it. It's only an I touring, but it's a peppy little rice burner! Only one thing I hate buying an 07 one though.... theres nothing out yet I can buy to make it just a little decent!!!

whaaa??
lowering springs, rims, body upgrades, ie, body kit, lip kit, spoilers.
theres MANY aftermarket accessories. you just need to know where to look.

and btw, many parts will fit all years of the mazda3. ex. lowering springs, or a cold air intake.
oh, and many, if not all of the new mazda's use the same bolt pattern's on the rims. so they're interchangable...
so u can put rx8 rims on a 3 no prob.

anyways, welcome to the forum!!
enjoy ur stay!!!

most things, if not all parts made for the older 3's will work for the newer 3's
however, not all mods are interchangeable between the sedan and hatchback. ie, body kits
the sedan's body is slightly different from the hatchback, ie, the head/tail lights

Yeah, that's ok though. I saw a lot of sedan shtuff for 03-06 on the web, but since this is my first Mazda (first new car matter of fact) and I didn't want to order something I couldn't use. Few people say out of experience that previous vehicles they've had just had a minor change that messed up a whole kit. I'm also just paranoid on what to buy and where to buy from. And if or when I do get third party, where the hell can I take it that all the money I saved on buying it, I won't have it pounded out my butt by someone to install it.
