Default Display is draining battery Plus more

Ok, so I recently bought a 2004 mazda 6i off of somebody, front turn signal didn’t work(just fixed it last night), and a fuse had to be pulled every night so the display wouldn’t drain the battery. Took the display apart and couldn’t find any problems. So that’s problem number one. Would I need to buy a completely new display or? But also the AT light came on after a while of driving. Checked the transmission fluid, could use a bit more but doesn’t seem like it’s enough to cause the light to be on. Car also occasionally will stall when you put it in drive, and will only rev the engine until I let off the gas and then reapply. But also after I reapply it will jerk forward horribly.
