I have a cx5 touring that is now 5 months old with 15K miles. 3 days ago I found the car battery dead (4%) in the morning. The passenger window was left down and the car was unlocked. This morning my wife found the battery dead and the car was unlocked. I'm not sure if we locked the car when we parked it. I called the dealer and he said he hadn't heard of any issues with the cx5 and checking the battery would be an involved process and could take up to 2 hrs if the battery had to be recharged in the test. In both cases there were no lights or accessories left on. The weather is good, about 55 - 75 F. What is confusing is the intermittent nature of the problem and the lack of obvious root cause. Any ideas?
