i reacently bought a mazda mx-3 1992. i drove it for 2 day and it ran good. i started driving it to work one then i was shifting past 3rd and it shut down. i pulled over and waited for a min and then it turned on again it shifted good till i hit passed 3rd and shut down again. i smelled fuel when i got it but thought nothing of it. i dont know to much about this car but i would sure like some thoughts on what it might be before i take it to a mechanic. it starts everytime when i drive it but i know not to go pass 3rd fo fear of it shutting down in a bad place. any help?
