Unhappy 2022 CX5 critical vehicle malfunction alert

Just bought this CX5 3 mos ago...absolutely love it...until yesterday 2 miles from home and all the alerts u can imagine go off: parking brake malf, keyless entry system malf, fsc malf, etc...get my drift? So i call the dealer, like MyMazda app tells me to do. They say bring er in. An hour later, they put her on the diagnostic computer ans are told everything's good, including battery, but it's gonna take 20 mins to recharge. ????.... after anther 30 mins, tech comes out & tells me he has no clue. Explains to me how smart the car is & battery always running, but my battery is ok. They are gonna have to give me a loaner until they can figure this one out. 2 hours later...I finally get picked up by Enterprise...don't even go there with me. Get a call the next day from Mazda Service Tech: seems it's the Front Sensor Camera that is on the frtiz, causing the battery to run low, thus causing all the malfunction alerts. Great!! But wait....there's more. It's gonna take 3-4 weeks before they can get a new camera...backorder and all, ya know....smh.....help!!!!

The initial experience is all the symptoms of a low battery. The front sensor (or any safety sensor) remaining on or malfunctioning isn't uncommon across other brands. New car, 50,000 parts, its bound to be a part or two that isn't perfect from the factory. I am not sure what you shake your head at or what help you need. They got you a loaner, figured out the problem, and ordered the part. You'll be ok.

GM has had problems with safety tech staying on causing parasitic drain. Pretty common. I'm a moderator at a GM forum and read this type of stuff all the time. It'll get sorted.

Your Mazda is leaps above any compact SUV/CUV the domestic mfg are building. I hope your part comes in quickly and they get you taken care of. Like the other guy wrote, it'll be ok.
