Hi, I am new to Mazda, I have had a lot of vehicles in my life, over 20, but never a Mazda. This "first time" is part of what drew me to the brand, I know they like to build "driver's" cars. My dad used to own an MX-5 Miata and that is the only Mazda I have driven up to now.


What sealed the deal?
I like the interiors as I am sure all of you do, and the refined engine and power train. I am not a CVT fan (except maybe from Honda), and that was part of it too. Also value, it seems like a great value, at a time when BEV and PHEVs are hard to find and significantly more expensive, especially in the nearly new segment. We looked at Escape, CR-V, RAV4, and so on. I ski a lot , and appreciate the entire CX-5 model lines now are AWD and generally the feature set in these vehicles is very nice. Of course I appreciate reliability and I expect this vehicle will be above average, if not stellar. Lastly, my partner loves the Blue Mica paint job, and that sealed the deal for her on Mazda. This line of vehicles does have excellent paint color choices. I was in France last year, and realized the US definitely has too many, white, black and gray variations of vehicles. Colors of distinction are fun, and no doubt Mazda delivers on that.

Where did I get my Mazda?
I got it from an Audi dealer in Livermore, California. They had been sitting on this 1 year old vehicle that was driven near my home town for 6,000 miles for about 3 months with no movement. I gave them a price, they said, that's very fair, and we did the deal. Excellent experience from a very professional retailer, Audi Livermore.
