Default 2016 Mazda GT

I have a 2016 Mazda 3 GT with tech package. I have been having issues with the forward collision camera. Since January 18 2018 I've had it in 12 times with them just clearing codes and never addressing the ( root cause ) now that I'm out of warranty they now want me to start paying for this and a new camera plus new programming. Has anybody else been experiencing this and any help on how I can get my car fixed without it costing me!!

  • No such a critter was available here in the States; we also have a 2016 Mazda3 Grand Touring 5-Door and the only options we didn't buy were the autotragic transmission and the "go fast look" trim kit, and our car does not have such a camera.
  • At least here in the States, if you have reported an issue while in warranty, you can claim a preexisting condition which was never resolved during the warranty period, and they should not charge you for it.

I am with shipo. What does your law say regarding issued you bring to a dealer's attention before the warranty expires. I assume they are still on the hook to resolve the problem especially now that they have finally identified the solution (a new camera and programming).

well it was initially bad that they only removed errors for you and did not do the main things! now I think you can write a statement on them because of the illiterate service of your car!
