Default 2016.5 Navigation system problems

Hi everyone,
I am trying to get help from the hive mind to solve an issue with my GPS navigation system on my Cx-5 2016.5. When I drive around, it will show me correctly on the map, but on occasion it will "glitch" and show me that I am 100-300 metres from where I am supposed to be (i.e. on a different road, in the middle of a lake, etc.). I checked the gps satellite reception and it says that the accuracy is high and I often have 7-9 satellites showing green. When the glitch happens, the number of satellites is a bit lower and one or two show red bars even though I am out in the open on the flat prairies. on some days, it will reestablish itself on the correct path, but not very often. When I turn off the car and turn it back on, everything works again for a little while. I am trying to see if others have had this issue and what did they do to resolve this. Replacing the SD card did not solve the problem (that was a dealership suggestion). If it is an antenna problem, how do I go about diagnosing the antenna? Thank you in advance!
