Having problems with the factory stereo system volume control. Volume will just take off on it's own and suddenly be full blast or drop down to nothing while driving. Anyone else experience this problem? If so, what did you find causing this and what did you do to fix it?

I hate this vehicle! Has had soon many problems. Needs inner and outer tie rod ends for both sides, the stereo problems, a/c compressor quit this past weekend. I'm not going to throw any more money into this thing. Told wife to start looking but she cannot have anything other than Ford or GM or I would divorce her! Lol

 

Get her a CX-5.

 

Nope. I don't want another Japanese or Korean brand vehicle.
