2000 626 diesel hot starting problems

i have a 2000 2.0 turbo diesel, it seems to start ok when cold, usually after 1 to 3 attempts. but when its hot it can take anything upto 20 attempts to start. Anybody got any idea what may cause thie?

626 turbo diesel

i have a 00 mazda 626 turbo diesel and the immobiliser light wont come on i have checked all the fuses and they seem to be ok the car wont start at all what could the problem be?

@ Nick, Dirty fuel filter, bad/dirty injectors or simply some bad fuel would be my guess.

@Kevin, I have to admit I don't really know what an immobiliser light is supposed to indicate, or do?
I did a quick search but it seems those that have this light already know what it does. I can't find useful info of the diesel novice.

Perhaps someone else can chime in to help you here?
