My grandson is working on a 98 Protege SE. It appeared to have a starter problem so the starter was renoved and taken to a rebuild shop who replaced the solenoid and tested the starter. The battery was replaced and the starter was reinstalled. when trying to start the car you hear a couple of clicks and the dash indications go out and they won't come back on for awhile. Could there be some type of securty glitch invilved? The car ran fine before.
