Default 1988 SE RX-7 Starting issues

Hello,

I am new to the forum and recently developed starting issues with my 1988 RX-7 10th Anniversary model.

I am located in Edmonton, Alberta and the car has 157k or about 100,000 miles. Recently when starting I could turn my car over to no end and it would not catch. I jumpered the service coupler under the hood to engage the fuel pump (from "on" position on Ignition switch) prior to turning to start. This trick seemed to work for a few times and the car ran fine after getting it going. No hesitation, idled fine, etc. Recently this does not even work and I cannot get the car going at all. Any suggestions would be of great help.

Thxs, Rob
