Evening gents and ladies. Just bought a 87 323 1.3 lx fro.a mate for a bargain price of £250 runs and drives fine. Needs a bit of welding but nothing major. It's a tidy little car for its age. 27 years if service history with her too.

Anyway, although I'll run it for a bit as is with a fresh mot, but ultimately soon, I want to swap the engine. What are my options? I want the easiest and cheapest option. Would that be the B6T? Would I need a new gearbox? Obviously I'd upgrade the clutch as best I could.

Any help appreciated guys. I'm completely new to 8ps cars and Mazda. I'm an audi guy
