Hello there

As you may tell im a newbie but i dont own a Mazda as yet

I'mlooking to by my first Mazda as at the moment im currantly driving a MK3 Ford Fiesta, which is a lovely little car but the time has come where i need to sell it and upgrade

I'm looking to buy a 1993 L Reg Mazda 323 Fastback 1.6 GLX

But the one thing im worryedabout id the draw backs to 323 for that year, i dont want to buy the car and find that theres loads of comman problems with it.

So i was wondering what should i look out for on a 323? what is the most comman problems if there is any? and if anyone has any expeicance with owning one of theses cars and can tell me there own opinions about them.

Hi LCJ.

I have a 91 323 hatchback with 199K miles on it and runs like a champ. Bit of a rough idle in gear but is just due to weak motor mounts. Otherwise I love my baby and would not trade for anything ( OK a Lambo if offered for a reasonable amount)
