To an enthusiast, a car is usually worth more than what the blue book value has to offer. That is based on an owner's investment in a car. Investments however do not necessarily boost a car's value just because they are there and added to the car. If you take a highly modified car to a car dealer, the dealer will give you the same value as you would get from a stock car. So, with this stated, your car's value will be based on Kelly Blue Book's assessment of the car w/little exceptions. Your car is too old for an assessment by Kelly Blue Book online. Since this is a "classic" car in a loose sense of the term, the car might be worth more than that value. Keep in mind that RX-7s have patented engine structure (rotary) which also add to the value of this certain car. It's like no other. You also have extremely low miles on the car. Withthese aspectsin mind I would probably assess your car at:

High: $4,300 (extremely nice condition)-might be what an enthusiast might pay for it
Low: $2,000-$2,400

Hi--- Your car sounds wonderful! I have an 84 -GS 12A with 297K. It has never had a wrench on the engine and still runs very well. I am the 2nd owner. I think I purchased it in 1988 or 89???

It was of interest to me that you received a reply of $4 K. I have been thinking of selling all my Mazda stuff and wondering just how to go about it. I have an almost complete parts car that I picked up a couple years ago also.

Everything works and is in good condition I drive it around about once a month just to keep it going, but I haven't licensed it for about three years now. It would make a great project package for someone .

I really stopped driving it in 94 when we purchased a airport limo service in south Fl. I had two towncars and two vans to drive 24/7 . I just didn't have time to enjoy it anymore. Driving was not my spare time hobby!! Now we are mostly retired but find that we are into so many other things ---No time for the Mazda anymore. I would like to see someone get it and ENJOY --$1200 would take it all.

Let meknow if you sell your ride. Regards, Jakedog
