i have a 04 "6" that has a lean code. i found a hose on intake center rear near firewall rotten from the inside. i figure that's the leak. what do you think? can i get the part from dealer?

what is the nature of the hose? is it just basic rubber with no hard bends in it? what size is it?

i ask all of these things because autozone usually carries hoses that you buy by the foot. it has to be a simple hose with no hard bends in it and you have to find out whether it is just a vacuum line or whether it holds more pressure than that. if it is small and just plain rubber with no lining or winding in it, just pull it off and take it to autozone. they will find something to replace it with.
