Default Yet ANOTHER coil gone bad

Last week car started hesitating on acceleration, no CEL. Felt a little like a bad motor mount. Saturday CEL came on, first solid then flashing. Pulled over right way. Stopped car, started again, CEL on solid, then went flashing again, so towed to the mechanic.
Misfire due to bad coil. That's 5 now in 91k, possibly replaced one more than once.

I have a love/hate relationship with my f'n Mazda.

wow - that sounds like an expensive habit. Do you think its actually the coilpacks breaking down on there own or something else in the system causing it (Leads?)

If its the same coil then id say its a diff issue than the coil. If its different coils then it could be a few things, one being thats its a bosch coil.

I'm pretty sure I've done at least one more than once, but definitely not all the same one. Since this one was on the back we replaced all three.
Probably not due to a wire, as those were all replaced last year when I replaced my blown engine. From what i understand these coils are pretty unreliable, not just on the 6 but also on the Fords.
