So I have a 2008 Mazda 6 2.4 and I have had it for almost 3 years and I have been trying to figure out what the issue is and no one can seem to figure it out so here's a shot on here.
​​​​​​ When i start my car it had this god awful sound coming from the engine kinda sounds like a machine gun and my oil light will flicker I'm not low on tho. And it doesn't do it every time I start my car but it will do it in idle or when I'm turning on a street or even when I'm just parked can someone please help me out with this

 

Get the oil pressure tested.

Could be the variable valve timing actuator.

Has it been to Mazda for diagnosis?
