So my cousin just replaced my engine in my 2006 Mazda 6, took two days, hooked everything back up, topped off all fluids, started up the first time but had a loud metal on metal sound pretty light sound but not good, eventually we turned it off and back on and it started up perfect no issues BUT doesn't go into gear, not one single gear. Any ideas what could be the issue, tranny fluid is topped off.

 

Is the torque convertor bolted to the flywheel?

 

Yes we bolted all 4.

 

Can anyone tell me if an 05 2.3 Mazda 6 transmission will fit my 06 Mazda 6 2.3?

 

4speed or 5speed auto?
