This is for someone else so it's all the info I have. 2003 mazda6 gas 4 cylinder. Said he was driving like normal to work when the temp gauge shot up and the car died. He has replaced a hose he said went to his radiator and Jerry rigged another that IDK where it went. But when I stopped to see if I could help when he tried to start the car, (to me anyways) the sound it made was odd when turning over. Almost like a whining sound. I'm sorry I wish I had more info. The temp gauge is now not working at all. The battery has plenty of juice so any thoughts are appreciated.
