Car stuck in park (2010 Mazda 6)
So on my way home this morning I got the flashing airbag indicator. I pulled over to restart the car to see if it would go away and when I did I was unable to shift into park after starting the car. It took me a few minutes of searching to see that I could manually override the shifter which I did successfully and was able to get home without issue. However I'm still unable to shift out of park without the manual override and now the "DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) Off" light as well as the "TSC (Traction Stability Control)" light are both on. The airbag light has not come back on for what it's worth. I'm also unable to use the locks or open the trunk without the car being on. I'm assuming the issue is probably a few blown fuses somewhere? I did smell a slight burning odor around the time this was going on so I'm assuming this is the most likely culprit. Thoughts?

This is a SAFETY issue, and you should have a qualified Automotive Technician service this problem ASAP.
I do not recommend that you continue to drive your Mazda until this is resolved. This is NOT a DIY service

Thank you. I saw other people mention this who had similar issues in a few other threads but I appreciate you pointing this out. When I saw that I checked and my brake lights were in fact not working so I have secured a rental car in the meantime until I can get it looked at on Monday. Do you know if this is an issue that needs to be serviced by a Mazda dealership? I have a great local mechanic that I normally use but I have to check to see if he can handle this kind of issue. My guess is it would require some kind of diagnostics tool to fully evaluate what's going on.
