Default Speaker upgrade

Hello everyone I’m looking into upgrading my speakers on my 2017 Mazda 6 I was wondering if I could put 8” in the front and rear doors? Has anyone installed them before and were there any modifications that had to be done? I don’t want to cut door panel and stuff trying to make it look clean.

well my first question is why and what 8 are you planning to use.

Most any speakers can be mounted in the door if you know what you are doing.

Mid bass is the most difficult to achieve good sound quality and going bigger speakers is not always they way to achieve the mod bass quality .

The speakers you are using would be a fair (mid level) choice if you upgrade all the rest of the speakers and amps and add a sound processor as well, other wise it is a waste of money and labor to use them alone.

You also have not even mentioned that to achieve good mid bass response you NEED to use a complete thought out sound deadening in the doors and under the carpet as well the head liner and complete trunk or rea hatch area.

I suggest to talk to a professional stereo shop because anything I say

Good luck with what may and does to appear your first stereo upgrade... ??
