Hi All,

Have had my new Mazda 2 tech edition for over a year now. Loving the car and thought I would look at upgrading the sound in it. I am not going to be going to any car speaker competitions or anything like that, just would like it to sound great while driving about. I have never fitted anything like this before so had a couple of questions:

1) Without taking the sides of the doors off is there anyway of me finding out the size of the door speakers?
2) I heard of people saying that it would be a good idea to also buy a head unit, is this really important?
3) Was looking at these speakers for the doors https://www.kenwood-electronics.co.u.../com/XR-1800P/ xr-1800p, though not sure if they would fit/be any good?

Was probably looking to spend around £200 total.
