Talking Some noob questions for an 08 Mazda 6

Hey guys So I've had my 08 automatic Mazda 6 for a while now and finally got the money to start working on it a little. I'm not trying to make it a race car, I just wanted to do some things like change the exhaust to get a little noise on there. Can anyone help because everywhere I looked I can't find an exhaust for my car. Thanks a bunch and please don't kill me in the comments lol

Checked Magnaflow and exhaust stops @ 2007 for a cat back. You will have to go custom. You go to a place and tell them you want a noisier muffler. They can measure and order one and adapt to your vehicle.
Another option is Mazda. They have Mazdaspeed Exhaust cat-backs that are really good (I have 1 on my 2006 mazda 6 3.0 automatic). Phone them and ask them if they have 1 for your car.
Check visually to make sure your exhaust doesn't look like: https://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/maz...-design-28940/

Thanks, should I just go to my regular mechanic and ask if he can get parts or is there somewhere specific outside Mazda that I can go to find out about the custom exhaust? Also, if I just want a louder sound, are there alternatives that I can do to get that?

You will need measurements of current inlet and outlet tube. You need to go a bit bigger to get a better sound 1/4" to 1/2" bigger. You also have to measure overall length and width of availability in spot your muffler is, you will also need an adapter pipe go to bigger size (as well as room for that).
I'm sure Magnaflow sells mufflers but not specific to your vehicle, but rather you have to tackle it with dimensions.

Good luck.
