Radiator Help
#3
almost all the aftermarket radiators are made in china. look out for the all metal(black, brass/copper, heavy) ones. the one i got for our millenia did not have a drain. i returned it. i have changed radiators in both our millenias at least 3 times. i get them from oreilly auto parts locally. we keep our cars a long time, so a lifetime warranty works for me. however, the first radiators were made in mexico, and i gotta say, the chinese ones are worse. make sure you inspect it BEFORE you leave the store. this is one of the main reasons i dont get some of my parts shipped. at least 2 of the radiators were warped so bad, i made them get another. one of them, if it was set down on a flat surface, while the middle would touch the ground, each end was like 2 inches high. i didnt think it was possible to make a core that curved. also, since the radiators are for automatics, they have a cooling tank inside. i returned 2 of them because the fittings for the tanks were loose, and trans fluid leaked. lucky for me it did not leak internally, and i caught both of them early. i bought a new genuine radiator on ebay for a great price, and the much better quality of the genuine radiator is easy to see. i would not buy an aftermarket radiator off ebay. and dont bother getting a used one
