Has anybody gotten a Phatnoise for their car? One of my friends got one for his VW and it's one of the coolest things ever!! My questions are...
1. Any way to get it cheaper than the $750 through the dealer?
2. How would you go about installing it?
3. Can you still use the steering wheel controls?

Anybody that knows anything about these and that could shed a little light on them, it would be greatly appreciated!

 

What is a phatnoise?

 

I was kinda wondering about that earlier but didnt post earlier because I decided that there was no way I was going to install anything called a "phatnoise" on any car of mine anyway.

 

never heard of it. and ^ that's funny caprice but I'm not putting anythin glike that on my 7 either.

I have one. The best thing since sliced bread. I have a 10 gig, it holds about 2500 mp3s and doesnt skip, unlike changers. Mine isnt for a mazda tho. Mine is hooked thru my kenwood head unit. You can find them on ebay pretty cheap, i got mine for 125.00 and it came with everything. If you get the bigger dms you can put dvd on them and play it on you monitors.
