Are parts similar
I have a Mazda6 JDM version, 2.3L, w/o turbo, Sportswagon. In need of crankshaft, con rods, bearings. Can anyone tell me if the US parts above are compatible with the JDM? If so I can order from USA instead of Japan.

As far as I'm aware, the US 2.3L also comes from Japan. I would think they would be the same (possible some engine mgmt differences in how the ECU is programmed), but I would think the block/heads would be the same.
I looked in my factory repair manual, but they don't get into detail about the bottom end of the engine.
